Young @ Art
Project For Primary Schools

Young at Art is a project developed by Gracefield Arts Centre in partnership with the Creative Education Arts Team supported by funding from the Dumfriesshire Educational Trust and Museums Galleries Scotland.

This project aims to show the potential of the Gracefield Arts Centre collection as a starting point for classroom activities within the Art and Design curriculum and across the curriculum. This is the first year of the project and we hope that it will inform development of future education activities linked to the collection.

All of the art work used as inspiration in this year’s project features children or young people as the subject matter of the pictures.
